PRC Celebrates 20 Years

The Portland Relocation Council (PRC) just wrapped up a event-filled week celebrating its 20th anniversary. PRC is a nonprofit regional networking group made up of professionals in the mobility world. This group comes together to learn, fundraise, and volunteer in their community, all while having a lot of fun.
PRC works with Project 48, a local nonprofit, through fundraising and volunteer work. PRC members volunteer their time and raise money to donate to Project 48, which helps foster youth by providing essentials like clothes and toiletries within the first 48 hours of placement, and offering mentorship to teens as they prepare for living on their own.
Events Recap:
- Day 1: The team put their walking shoes on to benefit the WERC Foundation’s scholarship program and walked along the beautiful Willamette River.
- Day 2: A Roaring 20s (Gatsby) themed evening celebration at the Aviation Gin Distillery to mark 20 years of PRC. Fun fact: Ryan Reynolds used to own Aviation Gin, now he’s just a charming, hat wearing cardboard cutout in the distillery.
- Day 3: The annual spring meeting, where they partied like it was 2005 with full on Y2K vibes, all before lunch. Members gathered for a discussion led by PRC President Kathryne Psihogios, CRP, to talk through 2025 goals, updates on their impact with Project 48, and trends they’re seeing in mobility and immigration.
